Winning build for TA
1 Boon-Prot Monk
1 E-Denial Mesmer
1 Smite Ranger
1 Iron Mist Warrior
Im not sure about my partners build but this was working great. This build worked very well, we got about 40 consecutive wins, about 30 flawless. So this is my build :
Ranger Smite
I used an Insightful PvP Holy Staff Of Fortitude.
Smiting Prayers : 12
Beast Mastery : 11+3
Expertise : 7+3
Skills :
Ferocious Strike [E]
Maiming Strike or Feral Lunge ( I sometime switch these 2 )
Call of Haste
Smite
Balthazar`s Aura
Comfort Animal
Charm Animal
Res Sig
E-Denial Mesmer ( This is my personal build )
Here again, Insightful+Fortitude upgrade on staff.
Fast casting : 9+3
Domination Magic : 13+3
Inspiration Magic : The rest in Inspiration Magic with Minor Inspiration
( Im not so sure about the points distribution, but its something like that )
Skills :
Mind Wrack
Power Drain
Energy Surge [E]
Energy Burn
Arcane Echo
Signet of Weariness
Backfire
Res sig
Iron Mist Warrior
A Shocking Axe of Fortitude would be a wise choice.
I have no idea how the points are distributed and I`ll only guess the skills he used :
Executioner`s strike
Eviscerate [E]
Axe Rake
Axe Twist
Disrupting Shot
Distracting Blow
Iron Mist
Res sig
Im not a warrior specialist so feel free to give ur opinions.
--------
Im not gonna post about Boon-Prot, use the search feature.
How to use :
E-Denial/Ranger Smite on monk. The mesmer cast Backfire/MindWrack and starts draining the monks energy, use Arcane echo then Energy Surge. When Backfire ends, try gaining energy with Power drain and continue using Surge, Burn and Sig of Weariness.
Now for the ranger, Id like to say that the next time you see a ranger smite searching for a team, consider picking him cus ranger smite deals massive damage. Start by targeting the monk, then use Call of Haste (+25% move/atk speed). When the pet is attacking, cast Balthazars aura on him, then Ferocious strike to gain your energy back. If he runs, depending on wich skill you brought, use Maiming strike. If you brought the other, wait till the enemy atk and use Feral Lunge+Smite. Balthazars spirit+the pet`s attacks+staff kills
The Warriors task is simple, find a soft target, slow him down and kill him.
The Warriors team mate wont be able to attack his target because of Iron Mist, so thats why he has to hit a different target.
Thats about it, tell me what you think.

ditch smite and take disruptive lunge for ranger
a good team is going to easily take off the iron mist since you dont have enough covers

Diversion > backfire. Also I'd swap the smite ranger for a crip shot/interrupt build. Even if they remove iron mist, they'll have to remove cripples too. Mainly iron mist will be to immobilize an enemy war. Spam crip on the soft targets to limit mobility.

Posting builds on public forums seems to get nothing but naysayers
Sure its not perfect, but its still a pretty good build. Energy Denial is a devastating tool against noob-mediocre monks which inhabit arenas. Even against expereienced monks, it makes the game 10x more difficult and tense than if they were just using a straight damage-er. The build has a solid offense, and features the most effective monk in TA, the boon prot.
There are, of course, improvement points. Most noticibly, the build lacks any kind of mitigation whatsoever. It is soley dedicated to destroying the enemy team, specifically the monk. That means that a competent offense will work its way through your boon prot, eventually. How long that takes will depend on how good they are and how good your monk is. Also, there are minor character improvements I would makes, such as switching theIM warrior to a shock axe, and finding something more effective than the smite pet ranger. (possibley a character with that much needed mitigation??)
Mitigation options: An interupt ranger, crip shot ranger, spiteful necro, trapper, shutdown mesmer, etc.

Looks alright for TA as long as you have some sort of communication going on. Ya, disrupting lunge is brutal against single monk teams because you can spam it. I'd try to put that in there.
If you want to try something for fun, make any normal build, except put a pet on each player with disrupting lunge. You'd be surprised how effective that can be in TA.
